Siglufjordur Godwit arrives in England!

On the 16th July Pete Potts and team ringed an adult godwit at Siglufjordur with Guðný and some of her pupils. Just 13 days later one of the three godwits ringed on that day 'Yellow Green - Lime X' was resighted on the 29th and 31st July at Killingholme, Humber estuary, Lincolnshire, in east England! One of the team, Astrid Kant managed to get a great shot of this bird being released by one of the pupils. It will be interesting to see if 'Yellow Green - Lime X' stays on the Humber Estuary or move on.
