Our Trip to Glounthaune

We went to Glounthaune on the 23rd of November 2012. It was a beautiful day,and we left on the train at 10:30 am.
Jim Wilson, Ms. Doherty and Mr. McSweeney were with us. We saw over 600 birds. We saw Black-tailed Godwits, Knot, Black headed gulls, Mallard,
Golden Plover, Rooks, Oyster Catchers, Turnstones, Redshanks, Greenshanks, a Little Egret, Curlews, Bar-tailed Godwits, Grey Heron,
Cormarent, Dunlin. Great Black Backed Gulls. We also saw the Teal, which is our smallest duck.just The weather was very sunny until we got a heavy shower of rain
just before we returned home on the 12.10pm train. That was our trip to Glounthaune.
